Gingko Nuts and Barley Drink
Ginkgo has rapidly become one of the most widely used health supplements in the world.

Ingredients:
40-50 prepared gingko nuts
5 ounces barley
8 cups water
5 ounces rock sugar
1-2 screwpine leaves ( optional)
Instructions:
1. Wash prepared gingko nuts and barley and put to boil
with water.
2. Turn heat down to medium and simmer for half an hour before adding rock sugar.
3. Continue to simmer for 25 minutes more. Add a leaf or 2 of
screwpine for added fragrance. Wash leaves and tie into a knot before adding to pot at the beginning of cooking time.
