Nuts and Pork Congee
Rich in protein, vitamins, fiber and calcium.

Ingredients:
A:
1 cup Japanese rice
1/4 cup each: lotus seeds, chestnuts, walnuts
1/8 cup pine nuts
B:
1 1/4 teaspoon salt
2/3 pound spare ribs
Instructions:
1. Wash the ribs, scald in boiling water ; remove and drain.
2. Wash chestnuts and soak in water for one hour; remove the outer film. Wash the rest of the ingredients in (A). Bring spare ribs, (A) and 10 cups water to a boil over high heat. Lower the heat and simmer for 70 mins (until tender).
3. Stir every 5 mins to prevent sticking at the bottom of the pot. Season with salt.
