Chicken with Yu Zhu, Chinese Yam and Medlar Soup
Ingredients:
1 chicken about 2 pounds
20 pieces yu zhu/ polyconattum
20 pieces chinese yam / dioscorea
2 tablespoons medlar
6 1/2 cups water
2 teaspoons salt
Instructions:
1. Clean chicken and leave whole or cut as desired.
2. Combine all ingredients and simmer for an hour. Serve
in a bowl and garnish with Chinese parsley or coriander leaves.
