American Ginseng and Chrysanthemum Tea
Ingredients:
1 ounce dried chrysanthemum flowers
1 ounce American wild ginseng
1 1/2 ounces rock sugar
4 cups water
Instructions:
1. Bring the 4 cups of water to a boil in a pot. Put in the
chrysanthemum flowers and American wild ginseng and bring to a boil again.
2. Bring the heat to low, add the rock sugar and stir to dissolve. Cover the pot to simmer for 15 minutes. Sieve the tea and cool before serving.
3. After the first brew is serve, use another 2 cups of water and 30 grams of rock sugar to make a second brew with the ginseng.
