Steam Chicken with Vegetables


Double boil steam chicken with cabbage, carrots and ham.

Ingredients:

1/2 chicken
5 ounces trimmed white cabbage
1/2 ounce chinese ham
3 ounces carrots
2 slices ginger
4 cups of boiled water

Instructions:

1. Wash and scald chicken.

2. Slice ham and cut carrot into thick slices. Put white cabbage into steaming bowl. Add chicken, ginger,carrot, ham and boiled water. Cover.

3. Put bowl into steaming pot. Double boil over high heat for 30 minutes. Lower heat . Double boil for another 30 minutes. Season with salt.
