Pork Rib Soup with Peanuts and Dried Chestnuts
Ingredients:
3 ounces peanuts
8 ounces chestnuts
1 pound pork ribs
2 slices ginger
1/4 dried tangerine peel
6 cups water
some table salt
Instructions:
1. Wash pork ribs, scald and rinse well. Shell chestnuts. Soak in hot water for 2 hours.
2. Bring water to the boil. Put in peanuts, chestnuts, pork ribs, ginger and tangerine peel. Boil again. Turn to low
heat. Parboil fot 3 hours. Season with salt.
