Stewed Meat Balls with Chicken Stock
Ingredients:
10 ounces lean pork, minced
10 ounces white cabbage
2 dried scallop
1 slice ginger
1 cup chicken stock
Marinate:
1 teaspoon cooking wine
1/2 tablespoon light soy sauce
1/2 tablespoon cornflour
Seasoning:
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 teaspoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon sesame oil
Instructions:
1. Marinate lean pork and shape into two meat balls. Soak scallops with a little water until tender.
2. Cut white cabbage into short sections and wash. In a pot heat 1/2 tablespoon oil and stir-fry ginger until fragrant. Put
in white cabbage, scallops and 1 cup of stock, bring to the boil.
3. Add meat balls and seasoning and cook for 15-20 minutes
over low heat.
