Low-Fat, High-Fibre Fruit Shakes
Ingredients:
1 frozen banana (peel it, wrap in plastic wrap and freeze until solid)
3/4 cup cold skim-milk
1/2 cup fresh, ripe , chillied strawberries (substitute: frozen, unsweeted strawberries, or peeled, diced apples)
1 teaspoon honey
a few whole strawberries for garnish
Instructions:
1. In a blender or food processor, combine banana , milk,
strawberries ( or apples ) and honey; blend until smooth.
2. Serve in chillied glasses, garnished with a whole strawberry slit halfway up to the cap and slipped over the rim.
