Garlic Bread
Ingredients:
1/4 cup fat-free cream cheese
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
2 cloves garlic, pressed or minced
1 loaf ( 16 oz) Italian or French bread, sliced in half lengthwise.
Instructions:
1. In a small bowl, combine the cream cheese, butter or
margarine, and garlic. Allow to stand at room temperature for 1 hour to blend the flavors.
2. Preheat the oven to 350 F. Spead the cut surfaces of the bread evenly with the garlic mixture.
3. Put the two halves together and wrap in foil. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes or until heated through. Cut into diagonal slices.
