Chinese Apricot and Grapefruit Tonic


Preventing and relieving constipation, apricots help to protect against bowel disease including diverticulitis.

Ingredients:

4-6 dried apricot
2 teaspoons honey
1 cup grapefruit juice
a sprinkling of ground nutmeg

Instructions:

Cook the apricot in enough water to cover, until soft. Drain. Stir in the honey while the apricots are hot. Add grapefruit juice and liquidize. Sprinkle with nutmeg before drinking.
